These people will say anything to make it thru to the next day. They give no thought or care about the downstream effects of lying. Giving JD the benefit of the doubt, if he's right and we successfully deported 30 million people, what then? Would housing magically become affordable? Of course not.

What weasel move will Mike Johnson make next to stop this? Maybe he will voluntarily step down as Speaker. You can't call for a vote without a Speaker of the House.

As an atheist I don't really care that he didn't swear on the Bible, but I do care that in his twisted mind somehow not actually touching it gives him a loop hole thru which to disregard his oath and act in the most vile of ways. He is currently fighting in court to not have to feed people.

I am a very heated veteran right now. Did he just read the oath of enlistment and emphasize the part about obeying the orders of the POTUS? The guy that said he's not sure he is bound to his own oath? The guy that hovered his hand over a bible, never actually placing his hand on it for his oath? 🤬
