Yeah, I want to say the last time this happened was for... Shining Fates? I remember all of the shelves were empty, even for some of the more "meh" sets because people were desperate for anything, especially for their kids. I'd say "I hope it calms down soon" but the upcoming sets are also cool sets

People are scalping the latest set "Prismatic Evolutions" because some of the chase cards are going for like $300-500, one in particular is $900-1500 (Umbreon), other packs are getting swept up in it too. It's just people being greedy.
