Did your pancreas normalize once things were corrected?

While it’s true that pancreatitis is often caused by alcohol abuse and smoking, many who have chronic pancreatitis do neither. Autoimmune disorders, and idiopathic cases are many. People who’ve had their gall bladders removed often end up eventually dealing with chronic pancreatitis as well.
