My first day on bluesky and I helped scare someone with a follow :) I managed to get top billing in that screenshot. I promise I'm not a bot! Just part of the influx looking for some good folks to follow, and haven't filled out my profile fully yet!

Yikes, something’s off on BlueSky, got some 200 new followers in the past 50 minutes alone, clearly all fake profiles save 1 or 2.
Hope the BlueSky Team can find ways to deal with this.
Anything we users can do to help other than blocking obviously fake profiles?
