Of course people are going to want to make themselves appear as "with the people" by saying they are working class, but actually the terms are generally outdated and simplistic, even if easy to understand.

“Greater Essex” is such a weird term. I know it includes Southend and Thurrock now but not sure what’s wrong with just Essex!

Think Essex is much more likely to have 4 with a “Mid-Essex” of Brentwood / Chelmsford / Maldon
