Gearbox just won't frickin do anything with the series. It sucks. Even if they did I don't trust Randy to give Duke the treatment he deserves. I wish a better studio could buy up the series and make new games for him. We need it.

Hey maybe it's hard for fans to get a new Duke game when Gearbox owns the franchise now and refuses to do literally anything with it. They put out Duke Nukem Forever and then the contentious 20th Anniversary remaster, and they let Evercade do a collection of old Duke titles and that's it.

DS9 is great, but it was still much lighter in tone than Andor. I think it could work, they'd just really need a lot of work to explain it. But a good serious dramatic series could be amazing. Also I want WAY more content outside of Starfleet in that universe anyway.

It worked in Star Wars because the entire galaxy is engulfed in fascism, which isn't typically something that is associated with Trek. Trek has its issues, but it's still much better than Star Wars in this regard. I'd love to see it but they'd have to figure out how to portray this kind of stuff.

Those goofy Cardassian helmets, and the appearance and prevalence of the Trill across the galaxy as well.

It isn't really talked about but in the 1st episode where they meet the Ferengi they'd never contacted the Federation, yet in DS9 they're clearly scattered around the galaxy in order to run shops and make money all over the place, which they would obviously do considering their obsession with money.
