Elections aren’t run by the federal government. Trump has no way to cancel them.
He could try, but a handful of red states would be the only ones that complied. Blue states would tell him to get fucked.

I think the most important thing we can do right now is NOT participate in any civil wars in the Democratic Party - the stakes are too high for party infighting.

That’s probably the goal. Trump is looking for a way to deploy the Guard in other blue cities, but thankfully he doesn’t have blanket control over them like he does in DC.
In other cities, he would have to do something to incite mass protests or a riot before he could legally federalize the Guard.

Every state and local election. Midterms, etc. They’re all must wins. Then we can start limiting the damage that’s being done.

Vance is basically pretending to be supportive, but I’m fairly certain he’s working with Murdoch behind the scenes. The elites got everything they wanted from Trump, now it’s in their best interest to try and force him out.
