We totally want to do an experience on Cystic Fibrosis at some point, exactly because of the fact that it's a single mutation and also has distinct effects at both the macro and micro-scale (very similar to SCD)

I downloaded the data from NIH Reporter too soon. The large end of the month update had not occurred.

I think dumbing things down for the general pop is responsible for the situation we're in. e.g. all official medical info on the internet is so bland and basic that people fall prey to quacks who provide them with seemingly more information.

It's not exactly that companies have to pay taxes for engineers - they can't write off engineer salaries as expenses, resulting in taxes on phantom profits.

This mostly hurts smaller companies who are just breaking even, but yes is also responsible for the firings/slow hires at the big corps.

It should. There have been delays (payments are supposed to come through next day but it's been up to a week sometimes), but if the main award has an NOA and an active PMS account, the payments should go through.
