i think most writers/creators thrive on talking about their own work but it is unpleasant for me (at least until i muster the nerve to read and realize it's not negative. it hasn't been, in any instance i can remember). why am i like this

i intended to draw some myself. but somehow i'm too busy to commit to it, sigh. i'm sure it'd do wonders for learning anatomy though. someday...

tangentially it makes me frown when i see non-bots admit that they had ai rewrite their posts/comments. expressing your own thoughts is a sorry thing to relegate

realistically i will never use it in casual typing online, so in that sense, it does seem very much a tell being on reddit or something and seeing someone pull out the — vs - (or --)

i do feel sort of oddly in my own little corner now, as someone only using bsky/tumblr these days, and i know a lot of artists have gone back/cross-post on twitter. but alas. i still browse but haven't posted there in forever
