Have you ever considered that I don’t need an education from you? You have failed miserably to even understand the purpose of me sharing that argument in the first place. So kindly FO and educate yourself on the male need to reign supreme.

I haven’t said anything about the Fairness Doctrine other than to say that it was vetoed by Ronald Regan. So you are saying he didn’t veto it? Do you know my brother is a journalist? Of course not. Yes I saw you were a broadcast engineer. So?

Yet, you still can’t read or comprehend.
July 2, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Yes I am. Regan had a lot to do with today’s culture of right wing extremism. But hey if you are a Regan lover go right ahead and excuse him. Maybe you need to expand your mind just a little rather than taking the time to tell me what I think. and telling me what my opinion should be.
July 2, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I already have. Maybe you should reread my answers.
July 2, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Did I say it wasn’t? No. Do you know one of my best friends is a First Amendment lawyer and instructor. Do you know that you are purposefully being obtuse? Do you not understand that conclusions can be drawn from people’s actions.
July 2, 2025 at 4:48 PM
I find it hilarious that you think I don’t understand this. I also don’t think it magically started in 1987. I do think that this current mess we are in started in 1987. I also think it is hilarious you think you need to explain first amendment rights to me.
July 2, 2025 at 4:18 PM
How you arrived at me not understand the first amendment is absolutely incredible to me. My point is free speech is in danger due to a constant culture of misinformation promoted by the right, not that free speech is not protected under the first amendment. mcmillanphillips.com/podcast/reag...

You do realize that your conclusion has nothing to do with what I said. You also must realize that misinformation is spread daily by certain networks. Do you also realize it is possible to hold two separate and distinct thoughts in your mind at the same time?
July 2, 2025 at 4:15 PM
OMG, I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS! WHAT I SAID WAS RONALD REGAN ALLOWED A CULTURE OF MISINFORMATION TO THRIVE. How did he do this? He hired Roger Ailes as his campaign manager whom he met while working for Nixon. Hence conclusion: He allowed misinformation to thrive.
July 2, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Did I say that? NO!!!!!
July 2, 2025 at 2:58 PM
He created the cultural movement of his time that led to the New Conservative movement, that is how. Hate, bigotry, and all assorted manner of BS has been around forever. It started with the advent of man, further back then 250 plus years.
July 2, 2025 at 1:59 AM
No but you will keep telling me I am incorrect in my opinion which clearly states that Regan created the culture. Don’t take my word for it . There are a lot of books on the subject of the New Conservative movement under Regan. Good night.

I was asking who he thought was behind today’s culture re: Immigration. I didn’t say Regan.- No reference to Regan. I was inferring that just as Regan influenced culture and media during his time. Trump is doing the same. Regan didn’t hate immigrants, that is a Trump thing.
July 2, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Are you referring to the article I posted? Of course I read it. My point was RR created the culture that allowed this bullshit to exist not that he was directly responsible for Rush Limbaugh or Fox News.
July 2, 2025 at 12:42 AM
I don’t see an article.
July 2, 2025 at 12:10 AM
So we agree. If you think Regan wasn’t any of those things then you are mistaken. millercenter.org/the-presiden...

So who do you think is responsible for today’s culture in politics and especially on the subject of immigration?
July 1, 2025 at 11:58 PM
You don’t care about truth you just want to blame me for Regan’s culture, got it.
July 1, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Wow that is a leap in reasoning. I said he created the culture which he did. Ailes is a separate entity. He was part of Regan’s election second election campaign. So if Ailes was working for Regan then he enabled Alies hence enabling the culture.

Where is NIxon’s name in this thread? I don’t see his name. I don’t see any mention by me of Nixon. So you don’t have a winning argument.
July 1, 2025 at 10:21 PM
I said nothing about Watergate which happened well before Regan, history expert.
