The best from Manchester, United with the best in the World, willing to take risks and hopefully by the end we've scored more than our opponent. That's Man Utd!

Set pieces. At least we got that going for us. We're decent at set pieces. We don't know how to do anything else. We can't keep control of the game with the ball. We can't create chances from open play with it.

Big win. Bigger amount of work to do!

There is no clear plan for how we create chances. Other than set pieces. Any team we can't play long ball against has nothing to fear! Tired of this!

wtf do we do on the training pitch all week??? Our players are so uncomfortable passing the ball on the ground. We have the technical level of a relegation team. How long are we going to keep going through this?

Palace played a full strength team just last Thursday night. Midday kick off today. Not even three days rest. We've had all week. Come on! We've gotta dominate them physically at least. Come on, boys! #UTFR

whether he keeps his job or not...

how can anybody still have anything to say in defense of Amorim in this fanbase?

in the Matic-Herrera-Pogba midfield, our best midfield post SAF, the defensive element we replaced with Casemiro, the creativity we have with Bruno, the physical+technical+tactical element that Herrera was, we never actually replaced.

We never replaced Herrera. Still feeling the effects!

okay, half the week has passed now. That last humiliation is in the past.

Let's look at the positives:

At least we now know Amorim knows a way to get points in the short term. It's ugly, it's not sustainable, not his style, but we can stay close on pts. Long balls, second balls. AT LEAST.

Amorim is taking us for fools.

if the system allowed Bruno to stay high
or allowed a winger to arrive where Dorgu arrives
or allowed playing one less defender when chasing a game

If players were playing their best role, and if it was flexible no one would ask him about his "system"!

Youth. Courage. Success.

That only works if the manager has the Courage.

So far, Amorim has shown he doesn't.

The most frustrating aspect of Amorim's tenure is to see performances like yesterday coming, be ostracized by fellow fans for "being negative", "you just don't like the manager", "if you can't back your manager you're not a real fan"

and then feel alone and angry on days like today.

Just the example of Bruno.

Amorim uses him for his worse traits - playing hopeful passes forward, often long, often too difficult - lack of tactical discipline | nullifies his ability to use his best traits - unpredictability in the box - shooting - assisting

and that's plan A, no plan B!

At first it looked like Moyes was about to school Amorim tactically, got unlucky with the red, and Amorim was gonna get away with it.

It looked like we were gonna get an easy win, debate on the horrible things we saw in the first 15, but at least get through the week.

And then this...

Embarassing. Just embarassing. It looked like there were more work to do even during the 5 games unbeaten run. And tonight it looks like no work has been done. This team improves on no aspect of what's supposed to be done. Passing? No. Control? No. Variety? Absolutely none!

Luke Shaw is only playing like this because he lost hope of going to the World Cup.

This team can do two things:
- win second balls
- score on set pieces

- can't build up
- can't control games
- can't kill games

Seriously, objectively, even if we ignore the bad results, considering this, 1 year in, Amorim is doing a terrible job as Manchester United's manager.

Ten men coached by David Moyes are making Ruben Amorim look like a fool!

November 24, 2025 at 8:46 PM
well done! Lacey on the bench for real. And he's got a chance of getting some minutes here because there is absolutely nothing else on the bench offensively if we want to change the game or if we are looking for a goal.

Will believe Amorim cares anything about youth when he either:
- gives minutes to any academy player other than Mainoo
- names them on the bench beside Mainoo, not instead of him

So far, it's been all talk and token appearences for them.

"Ruben Amorim wants to continue targeting Premier League-proven stars as part of his strategy."

Yes, Mbeumo's signing working out well and the strategy makes sense.

But what about looking for the De Ligt's and Mazraoui's of midfield? For less money?

Maybe with Licha Martinez' passing ability from the backline we may finally see the true purpose of this back-3 formation and we can hopefully control these next games we will need to control to win.

🥹 hopefully
