UTINNI!! Is what the Jawa from "Star Wars" is saying about the "wooden" vase I printed on my H2D. I used Bambu Lab's wood PLA filament in an attempt to give the vase a wood-like appearance.

Working on an updated character design for Lorraine. Nothing carved in stone yet, but it helps to draw things out to get the ideas in your head down on paper... so to speak in today's digital world.

Took a break this afternoon and went to see the new Looney Tunes movie "The Day the Earth Blew Up" featuring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. I enjoyed the film thoroughly & it was great to see Daffy actually being looney!

For the reboot of the comic, I created some 3D environments using the tools included in Clip Studio Paint. This allows me pose the characters, get the camera angle & lighting I want. No more messing up perspectives! Also speeds up my workflow.

I've had these Animaniacs Valentine's cards since 1997 when either Justin or Andrew, my two oldest sons, had to hand out cards in school. The Geeky-child in me loves the Animaniacs, so I have kept the cards around for 28 years.

In addition to drawing comics, I'm also an avid model builder. Currently, I'm building an 1/8 scale Ecto 1 from "Ghostbusters." It'll be 32" long when completed.
The kit is from Fanhome & is comprised of 36 issues with 4 parts per issue. A fun build so far.

My comic doppelganger is surrounded by the things that influenced my humor & inner geek. Bugs, Carlin & Unger's "Herman" shaped my humor. Jonny Quest influenced my drawing style. The Jupiter 2, Godzilla & Herbie are kings of my geekiness. Bambi because I too lost my mom way to early in 1985.

Clip Studio Paint's line tools are the best & make drawing floorplans a piece of cake. I set up the Grid settings to equal the scale of the drawing then I use the Snap to Grid function to draw the lines. Easy as can be.

So, when the city wants a floorplan of your house showing each bedroom in order to approve a permit for a new septic tank installation I put my old drafting skills to work & get it drawn.
I start with a white board to make a rough sketch w/dimensions then drew the plan in Clip Studio Paint.
