Flipping glorious day today, but I got too much sun by mistake yesterday so have spent quite a lot of the day hiding in the shade.

My friend died today. She’d been ill with the big C for a while, & while her passing was not unexpected, sadness prevails. Here’s a picture of us in our 20’s, living in LA, when nothing mattered & life was easy. I will miss her greatly.

Been doing the new job for 3 months now. 12 hour shifts are mentally draining. Never knowing what call is coming next means my adrenaline spikes each time the phone rings. No wonder I’m tired. Am in the middle of some time off so have come to Spain for some proper R&R
