My all time favorite book series - in the sci-fi category, Pierce Brown's Red Rising series. For S&G's, Jodi Taylor's Chronicles of St Marys.

By what measure can you use to describe Melissa as the "storm of the century" when we are not but a quarter of the century in?

Keeping it light on a Sunday night with a pic of my current foster kits from the local shelter. Hopefully they will be picked (along with mom) to transport north soon.

As much as I do not put great stock in symbols, at least Hitler and the Confederacy came up with their own version of fabric allegiance.

tRUMP says he will find a place for the DC homeless he will be sweeping off the streets. Probably next to the Potomac Washington Aqueduct low water intake where he hopes skeeters will take care of the problem.

It is not hyperbole when I say that the Blight House needs to be cleansed of its infestation with the one thing that will not lead to biological resistance of its vermin - fire. Like in 1814.

My cat on the porch observed 110 lb Great Pyr lumbering onto the porch. Complete strangers. And stranger that the cat allows the dog to put nose on him (albeit with hackles raised) for a sniff. THAT, my friends, is confidence on the cat's part.

I have Chernobyl size cukes from the garden because some like to hide amongst the leaves and get noticed too late. But the deer seem to love them. With only one set of teeth though, hard to eat the peel so I peel them and then cut into chunks. The dishpan is always empty by morning.

If TSA is dispensing on their foot fetish protocol, can the flying public get a break on the 9/11 security fee assessed on tickets? js
