I've had a brain worm about an anime called Chaika the Coffin Princess I watched when I was like 16 and their magic system is based on drawing energy from organic matter, and the conduits were usually guns. they had magic guns that fired "spells" using discarded flesh as ammo. Pry not good but neat.
