I bailed halfway through The Two Towers and now have the Grammy's on. Why are there still orcs?

We were both pretty ambitious on this. After multiple hilarious attempts to get the new wire thru the lamp pole (including using a drain snake) we got it all hooked up and plugged in and immediately blew the surge protector. And now we will go to IKEA and get a nice new floor lamp 😂
