as Jung said that genuine moral effort was a good substitute for psychotherapy. Strange how secular, hyper-capitalist systems teach us productivity but rarely how to feel peace/joy or whole.

There’s so much chaos in being human, so many things beyond our reach. Maybe the only real anchor we have is our morals
The quiet compass that stays even when everything else moves.

We see the world but we don't really see the world, is it?

Someone visualized malware as images using space-filling curves (like a Hilbert curve) and it’s insanely cool. You can literally see patterns inside malicious code.

wisdom isn’t about having answers

it’s about knowing that any answer is provisional, and still having the courage to act

I’m starting to believe most problems don’t have a true solution. There’s always a missing perspective, something unseen. What we call solutions are just small improvements that help for a while and are based on limited context, optimised for certain values; not all values. And maybe that’s okay.

Humans don’t think in probabilities.
We think in stories with confidence.

We confuse familiarity with compatibility. One is neural wiring.
The other is alignment.

We don’t need fewer emotions.
We need better conversations with them.

And maybe,
better conversations with ourselves.

Internet kinda makes you less empathetic in a way that it feeds you the same information related to your beliefs over n period of times that you start accepting those as the only truth!

This is dangerous when it comes to people being pro-idealistic for their own group and denying others existence.
