He’s so obviously speaking in bad faith. If he actually cared about improving transportation safety, he’d know the subway is A) safer than driving and B) has legitimate places where improvements could be made (i.e. platform screen doors or similar), but he’d rather scapegoat than solve problems

FWIW, I think Parks is doing the best they can with the space they have. But the number one focus to make the Monona lakefront more enjoyable /has/ to be reducing the number of cars on JND, and that’s up to WiDOT. #It’sTheCars

My larger issue with green painted pavement is that it tends to get really slippery in wet conditions. My city just repainted a bunch of striped bike path crosswalks with an incredibly thick coating of green paint and it’s treacherous when wet!
