33.5 million is a lot under 40 million lol. It seems to be structured just like the Baker deal.

Well 2 of those guards are bad, so glad we didn't sign them. Dalman is a frustrating miss tho.
March 10, 2025 at 4:28 PM
I would hate to be a fan this way
March 8, 2025 at 4:49 AM
That's all that matters. If they win 11 or 12 games next season all the sudden people will forget about this trade.
March 8, 2025 at 2:47 AM
All those teams were quickly successful after having bad years. You can turn things around very quickly.
March 8, 2025 at 1:55 AM
Washington (Daniels)
Colts (Luck)
Bengals (Burrow)
Texans (Stroud)

In the modern era.

I wouldn't advocate for it but all those teams have had more sucess after their tanking seasons then Seattle has had the last 5 years.

You could not keep Tyler Lockett on 30+ million he was due to make. It would be sick if they could bring him back on the cheap but it seems like the player also wants to explore something new.

I agree, they can easily pay DK 30 million. He may just not want to play in Seattle anymore.
March 7, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Agreed. I am team keep DK, but more stuff keeps coming out.

Wants to play for a contender
Wants a more stable QB situation
Wants warmer weather

Seems like he isn't a fan of staying.

I would rather over pay to fix a glaring issue than force an unhappy DK to stay.
March 7, 2025 at 7:42 PM
If want them to keep DK, but if they HAVE to move him..

FA:
Dalman
Milton Williams
Will Fries
Earnest Jones
3+ year contracts.

Resign:
Riq
Mafe
Coby

Seattle has 180 million in cap next off-season, so fit DK in. But if not you could add all those FAs and still have 75+ mill next off-season.
March 7, 2025 at 7:34 PM
This is true, the eagles are better run in many aspects than the Seahawks. Definitely a John Schneider issue.
March 7, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Dalman is a very good to great center. Fries looks strong at guard. Plus you have to pay to keep Cross and or Lucas. Your DL right now is Murphy and Leo, need to add there. Have to pay Mafe and Hall soon

And that's just the OL/DL.

I want to keep DK but they need to shift how they spend money
March 7, 2025 at 7:29 PM
100% agree but it's about the positions that money is allocated to. I want to keep DK, but I also want to invest 90 million over the next 3 seasons in the OL and DL with good players.
March 7, 2025 at 7:13 PM
If they move in from DK they definitely should add a vet to the room.

Here is what the pass catching options would look like

JSN
Amari Cooper + draft pick
Bobo
Young

Fant
Barner

Not the scariest group on paper, but if JSN keeps growing the way he has it's more than good enough.

I never said watch the games, that was the other guy. Learn to read threads?
March 6, 2025 at 11:09 PM
What does being a season ticket holder have to do with anything? Lol
March 6, 2025 at 8:52 PM
I agree that they need more public chip talent, and DK was one of the only guys on the team with a unique skill set that could make him blue chip. That said, Seattle absolutely has a roster (with the right OL/DL additions this off-season) that could compete.
March 6, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Abe Lucas when healthy is a great RT

Julian Love is a top 12 safety

To say that the roster is devoid of talent is just not true.
March 6, 2025 at 6:44 PM
I think there is absolutely some truth to this roster being talented ...

Big Cat
Spoon
Ernest Jones
Murphy
Riq
Walker
JSN
Cross

All have or are already probowl/all-pro talents

Hall and Mafe are strong, young edge rushers. Knight looked very good as a rookie
