Licensure exists to protect the public, not to give professionals a platform for ideology. Conversion therapy isn’t speech. It’s abuse with a license.

A surgeon can’t amputate a healthy limb for “religious reasons.” A pharmacist can’t sell bleach as medicine. A therapist can’t “treat” someone’s identity.

When you’re licensed as a therapist, doctor, or pilot you agree to follow evidence-based standards. You can’t claim “free speech” to justify harm.
