WIP dump: haven't had much motivation lately, but I've been tinkering with these. The trash guys are going to be labels for our bins, and the Tree rex will hopefully turn into a big standee on the front yard if I actually do it.
9 goofy garbage monsters with googly eyes and derpy faces. A stinky nappy, a chicken bone, a snotty tissue, a cereal box, a tin can, a cordial bottle, a banana peel, half an onion and a toast crust with a large bite out of it Several design explorations of a "Tree-Rex" with varying levels of detail. I was mainly just doodling through trying to represent both elements and simplify the design overall. I think I need to workshop it to be more dino-like overall, maybe give it a more dynamic pose.

This was so hard for me, and I don't feel like I did a very good job either.
I think if I did this again I'd make it a wheel rather than a chart, it might feel more natural to combine specific emotions, rather than trying to 'find' a feeling to fit a gap...

Bonus page of study/warmup drawings. I don't draw animals often, so it was an interesting challenge!
Several sketches of Skye's dog Forrest with varying levels of accuracy, as well as a thumbnail doodle to block out the page and shape/colour studies of Forrest and Jack Frost.

Since you're promising to be a good boy, I might just have something special in my sack here for you (Sully reaches in and pulls out a familiar looking doll, giving it a squeeze).

Reflection:
I didn't want to figure out a witches hat or potion bottle, so this was my first dive into the CSP asset store, found free assets that far exceeded my expectations.
Focussed on 'drawing' rather than painting; still playing with the brush options, layers, etc

Reflection: I finally allowed myself to paint over a 3d scene, placing some default elements around to fit my idea.
Still learning how to use the 3D models, but even still it enabled me to study the shadows and proportions, as well as just freeing me from the fundamentals to just create something

Our favourite foods as Pokemon:

So much fun, feels like we must have seen a couple hundred people all up, which is massive in Aus where it's not typically really celebrated.
I was on scares, dressed and acting like a decoration until my victims least suspected me to spring to life!
(Most of the credit to my wife for this project)

NGL, this is like 80% just playing with brushes. I added the eyeball because I felt guilty for barely drawing anything 🤣
