Satellite photos are published from the refinery in Saratov, hit by Ukraine four days ago.

One fuel tank is still smoking, but the plant has been hit before, so some discoloration may have been from earlier visits by Ukraine's 'Dr One'.

I agree with your assessment.
The biggest danger would be if Ukraine is forced to accept some kind of rotten "peace agreement" that can be sold as at least a partial victory in russia. That would stabilize the regime, but only shortly, as russia can't go back to a peace time economy easily. ...
