I got all excited for a moment.

On one hand … fair - I do love a protest and making Trump + his minions uncomfy is satisfying.

On the other hand … the “hey hey ho ho” crowd has been at it as long as I’ve been alive, and everything they protested for got worse (civil rights, economic equality, the environment). It ain’t effective.

I’m a massive lefty but those protesters were annoying af. Also, pointless.

So I’ve been telling anyone who will humor me on the subject that he’s in Massive Attack. (Just look at / listen to the friggin’ art! It’s right there!)

It’s my most boring party story but I keep telling it. I really want to know if it’s true, or if it’s all in my head.

Also also - getting the gerrymander on the ballot so quickly is not nothing. Seems like one heckuva pushback to me.

I love Newsom’s mean tweets. I might not ever tire of the joke. Like a favorite song I listen to on endless repeat - can’t get sick of it.

Also - the lawsuit re: Federal troops in CA would seem to be a fairly decisive action by the gov.

PPP rankings would seem to reward regions with large populations of lower-wage workers, no? I’m not a pro, but places like Switzerland or Singapore would take a hit vs. say, India or Indonesia. I’m not totally sure that’s the right metric for CA, given its labor market.

Go easy on them.
