Another amazing arcade port…wow! Can you shed any light on why almost none of these make their way to Steam/PC? Most of my library is there, and while I could buy these on Nintendo or Sony stores for my Switch 2/PS5, I’m not keen to further divide up my library, if at all possible…

Can I ask, is there QoL stuff beyond what’s already in 2025 beta branch? I never really stopped playing Nuclear Throne, but I’m still hoping for some nice surprises over and above the existing beta :)

Wow, will check these out immediately. More like this please! I would absolutely devour some kind of curated list of freebie gems – the free games spreadsheet is getting paralyzingly large! Equally keen for an itch.io highlights reel…

now that i am astride your steam curator page, i am trying to go back and compile your itch-exclusive (and other non-steam) game recs so i can start wishlisting/grabbing them. would love to see a non-steam game recommendations thread sometime if you are up for it! grabbed cambria sword today :D

Haha no worries, the SaGa and Live a Live remakes were just about perfect…Star Ocean also got the proper treatment (at least sometimes). I would love to see more in the vein of Vagrant Story…super out there, experimental, hybrid genre stuff. Admittedly I haven’t tried Diofeld or Triangle yet!

I thought I was agreeing with you :) I do find myself “missing ‘90s Squaresoft that made weird PS1 games and was 100% prepared to put all their talent behind odd experiments” all the time, especially re: their flagship AAA efforts. E.g., I couldn’t dig recent FFs, including the FF7 remakes

Would love to know more Squenix games that fit this description..! I own Dungeon Encounters, and I already had Voice of Cards and Paranormasight wishlisted…grew up on their 90s stuff and it’s sad how far they’ve fallen
