fkvs is part of an experiment to build a fast key value database with no dependencies and build something concrete using the C programming language.

So far I am happy with the results.

On Ubuntu it achieves almost 400 000 req/s (albeit it was running via orbstack) so native perf should be much better. I am yet to test fkvs on non-virtualized Ubuntu instance.

Waiting for mine to arrive so I can pair it with the Sony A6700. Btw, these pics are nice! Following to see other pictures.

Nice! I was thinking of purchasing this lens after getting the Viltrox 75mm but because of the sheer weight of the thing I went with the 25mm f1.7 instead. Will be arriving in a few days.

How are you finding it so far?

That’s more of a Erlang/OTP thing. The Elixir docs don’t even mention it. Those who come from a Erlang background generally get to know of it first because it’s part of the ecosystem.

I remember this. It’s definitely a move in the right direction. Not sure where all the hesitation came from.

Problem is, this is not universally available to everyone like Google is. I believe you need to be a paying customer to use this. So only a subset of users would ever use it. Google has the potential to have the upper hand if they bring something like this to more people at no cost to the user.
