My favourite thing as a (young) kid was to go to the duck pond and feed the ducks. 🥰 They're so pretty

Who wouldn't love to browse the internet from the beach using their new FÖRBINDELSE tablet. 🥰

I'm guessing it wasn't in the old-school style of cliché soundtrack and live typing in Notepad, like the good ol' 2000's? 😂

Besides, since when has CIG been good at sticking to scope and deadlines? The reason we have a parallel "live" 4.0 now is because they value quality over target dates. I can't say the same about my current industry: if you don't release functionality ON TIME you lose the race.

Have you worked for CIG? Because I've worked "in consulting" as well, but they're not all as bad places as Big Four. Far from. My naive guess is that the games industry is the same: some are horrible and are used to paint a global picture while others are good places to work.

Flexible working hours is not uncommon - how is this in any way or shape stressful? Quite the contrary, usually. People can say "You know what, I can fix these problems for all of these people who enjoy our game, and I can fix it now. I'll take a day off in January instead, I'm happy to" and do it.

Mind sharing this?

It's likely a voluntary offer from CIG that "the right people" get to earn a bonus amount of money to work on stability early. CIG doesn't come across to me as a company that stresses their employees or forces anybody to do anything they don't actually want to do.

Imagine if one day there will be piracy contracts in Pyro about going to the capitals, disabling the armistice defenses and taking control of the space port. Like a "Capture the Flag" event for pirates and security personnel alike. Pirates would be paid per minute they hold, e.g., New Babbage. :D
