My concern is the executive branch runs the jails. If they don’t respect court orders, why do they obey an order to keep someone locked up if they don’t have a problem with what that person did

Right. She may have asked for an early exam in an attempt to make clear that she wasn't trying to game the system -- she'd have LESS time to study than her peers, so any unfairness would be borne by her. She may not have asked for a late exam bc she perceived that as less likely to be granted

I think companies would prefer not to defend on those grounds because that would involve an admission that the choice not to advertise on twitter was ideologically motivated 2/2

he's threatening an antitrust lawsuit, which is not the classical sort of SLAPP suit. While the illegal boycott he alleges is occurring could be characterized as the type of expressive conduct that would be covered by an anti-SLAPP statute 1/2
