As a Brit, I have to confess that my interest in US politics was quite superficial until Trump came on the scene when the levels of farce made it a subject impossible to ignore. I heard Bernie Sander's name spoken with admiration, & have now listened to his contributions myself. Much to enjoy!

Trump could have made better diplomatic relations with those places instead of antagonising them with threats of invasion.

Back home, I found my History of Medicine open on his bed on the page about Hippocrates, and his comment about the dreadful disease that led inevitably to death. My son had read old knowledge, out of date knowledge. Science moves on, treatment changes.

My son was suddenly ill. I told him we needed to see the doctor to eliminate the chance it might be diabetes, Type One.
At the surgery it was confirmed it was. Within hours he was stabilised and educated about treatment.

No we weren't. We were told the chances of dying were higher for people over 70 and they would be first in line for the vaccine. I was 69.
