A non-zero-sum worldview is, in my mind, the core of what it means to be "on the left." You believe that through cooperation & solidarity, we can *all* benefit. Indeed, if you look back through history, you find that non-zero-sum cooperation is the root of pretty much every human advance!

I remember there was a reasonable fear of CTE making football uninsurable at the youth level, potentially consigning the sport to the same relatively fringe popularity level as, say, boxing. Maybe this was a deadspin take? Thoughts on the likelihood of this now?

Kind of like if I ask you for a great early dub single, you can only recommend singles you know. Search engines work the same way (at a very simplified level).

The crawlers (bots used by search engines) have to discover them - usually by following links that they’ve found elsewhere. Then they ‘crawl’ (evaluate) the pages and decide how useful/relevant they are to a search. But they need to know the page exists to recommend it first.

If they’re not in Bing’s index they won’t appear in DDG results (which uses Bing)
