I like the theory it’s Bubba the Love Sponge, who was very much in Trump’s orbit, because I’d like to see this get described in the history books in a serious way

I like how the deepest theme in that whole show is the struggles of reconciling a creative and empathetic brain with mores of American masculinity. It’s a dude with a lifetime of problems that would have been avoided if his parents let him have a Lisa Frank trapper keeper and write little stories.

What if she is selling an AI product that cures all ills along with it though?

Imagining it looking like those maudlin china plate sets with pictures of the royal family on it.

On the other hand, I think this does put the finger on the pulse of what is broken with the NYT, much of the management and journalists that write for it are embedded in a clubby NYC social scene which may not be as toxic as fully embracing pedophiles anymore, but isn’t that far from it either.

This is getting dangerously close to A03, but really news people also have to take it seriously. What a wonderful world.

Honestly, that would bring him back into my pantheon of people who were president and are not totally irredeemable.

Every single state and local office should have a Dem running for it and our grass roots shops like Run for Something should be getting donor money to make that happen, especially if we can fill a lot of them with non-crank potentially viable candidates. We could unwind so much state and local BS

We already know JPM was sideways with Epstien and I don’t think that has had its comeuppance even though they quietly fired everybody involved once it all came to light. Hoffman is a bummer because he seemed like a decent fellow, but if he was tangled up with these grifty monsters, good riddance

I think there is some argument billionaires might leave places like Omaha (excluding Buffet) if pushed with taxes because they are getting pulled to go to places like NYC where they can get more experiences with their fortune, but batty to thing the top tier or even second tier cities will have that

Do you think the NYT requires journalists to write their internal emails to each other in the subjunctive?

An old one of my snuggly pup for good measure.

New business idea, train an LLM with Epstien emails and catfish billionaires as their new really stupid email/text buddy.

Happy to work with those few GOP folks who came out of this period with honor once we reassert public integrity.

Ken Starrk Karp was always the most disappointing Pokémon to find in your pack.

Also, drain the swamp kind of worked as a political message, we just want people who will actually do it.

It’s interesting Murdock’s true tabloid news bones still stick out of the propaganda when the story is juicy enough
