Just redesigned the sliding door window screens. These install from the inside, instead of from outside. So I was finally able to install the rain guards for those windows.

Turns out they’re “light off-road tires” They can’t handle gravel roads without getting punctures.

Drove into a New Hampshire tire shop to get a flat tire fixed. They said I could make an appointment and they could get to it in a week. Traveling from out of town didn’t matter. 😖

Chinese Diesel Heater Installation and Modifications
In this video I go over the installation of my Chinese Diesel Heater. I had many problems and attempts at fixing the diesel odor coming from the cheap fuel tank that comes with the heater. I even replaced it with another of the same. Eventually I upgraded the tank to a Risk Racing plastic fuel jug. It is a significantly more robust fuel tank. I also tested output carbon monoxide to find optimal air/fuel settings. These settings also need to be leaned out when going into elevation. By around 8000' it needs some help in the settings. Be careful when adjusting settings as you don't want to mess things up. Take notes of where you started, so you can always return there if need be. When I first installed this it heated the van extremely quickly.The van is mostly insulated. It's a small space after all. Even when at low idle it continued to build up heat. Eventually I replaced the fuel dosing pump that it came with—an 18.5–20 and I replaced it with a 16. This made a big difference in how fast the van heated up. It sipped fuel more slowly, but required a slight change in fuel/fan settings. Generally people just change fuel settings, I tend to change air settings, as I tend to be contrarian. I've spent many hours discussing testing, adjustments, and modifications and upgrades with Gustov @mini.vanman I upgraded the muffler, the fuel filter, and the air filter, along with the fuel tank and fuel line. It seems like it's getting closer to fine... Aliexpress is generally significantly cheaper than Amazon if you can find stuff there.
