Homelab and most nerding type things.

I used to like pizza. I still do, but I used too, too.

Similar story. I use a windows VM to game if proton feels clunky.

I've been testing Winboat to run windows apps in Linux. It's currently in beta but surprisingly stable in my experience. Instructions are phenomenal. Might be worth checking out

Breaking up my monolithic boi over the last several months was a great decision. Lower power, less fuss. Yay s3 sleep!

I agree with you: Modularity = Sanity

Great article.

Depending on what the internet decides to complain about, I'll mute words for a period of time rather than an all out block spree.

I missed the boat on blocklists. I like to be reminded why I don't interact with folks from time to time.

Yikes. That level of dedication is intimidating. Excellent work.

Best hobby ever.

I’ve been bouncing between Jellyfin and Emby. Bought an Emby L many moons ago. Reliable, snappy. Jellyfin is great but the tv apps that I’ve used aren’t quite there for me yet.

I can relate.

Considering how much time I spend distro hopping, I would greatly benefit from backing up and restoring dot files for stuff other than Konsole.

Such a fun hobby. Kinda frustrating at times (like a few moments ago, pfsense) but overwhelmingly enjoyable.

We've ticked many of the same boxes. Happy hacking!

My father-in-law had some issues with windows 7. The extent of his usage is viewing pdfs and Pinterest.

I installed a second stick of ram and an SSD with Mint. 79 yo and loves his new version of windows.

Best of luck to you!

Tbh I have used Linux irregularly for years and steered clear of the shell until rather recently.

The shame of admitting that to the wild internets stings.

KDE. I’d love to like something else, though.

I use it often. Being a distrohopper, it’s included in a bash script I wrote for new installs.
