tl;dr if you can make sure to remind people the good you think about them 🥹
Image of a text saying: "There is is super great indie musician I've been listening for almost a decade who had anonymous messages opened and I used it to send my appreciation- I almost stopped because I was scared it would weird them out but it looks like it made them happy and I can't express how it feels to have been able to let them know the great impact they had on me and how much their songs were there for me when I needed it 🥹 It's insane because I wasn't sure if it was worth saying at all, because in my head it's like "well, they are aware their music is great, they probably don't need a random person saying it" but it still seems to have touched them and I am just so happy I could share even a little bit of the joy their songs brought me. I guess no matter how succesful & skilled, it can still make your day better to be remembered your work impacts & touches people 🥹 To everyone who creates, know that a majority of people will probably feel like you're aware of how your work impacts them positively, do not take a silence as people not appreciating your craft 💗 There might be some people who admire you from a distance, thinking you must already be aware of how awesome and meaningful what you're doing is." - screenshot due to characters limit
