Though people will try to draw analogies between now and other moments in history, usually in an effort to assuage fears, the truth is, this moment is unprecedented because the technology is unprecedented. The internet, social media, and AI are all pushing us to break through to something new.

My sincere belief is that a sustained general strike is the only peaceful way we will make real change in this country.
I found myself hoping I would wake up one day, see that a line had been crossed, and a strike would just happen spontaneously.

To sustain itself and have real demands met, it requires planning and mutual aid between communities acting in solidarity.
Ditching Amazon is one way to practice. It exposes the gaps, so we can start to fill them in together.
