Weren't Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler and Perón also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize?

I was an iPad kid before there were even iPads, so I get it. But back then, screen time meant curiosity, not just mindless scrolling. I snuck computer time late at night to learn to code and build things even when my dad kept grounding me for it. This was even before the internet was a thing.

Not all activism has to be loud or confrontational. Some resist by remembering, keeping records, and telling what really happened. That quiet way of holding people accountable makes it harder for gaslighting to take hold.

Is overthinking my full-time job now?

Critical thinking is the first casualty in crisis. That's why education shouldn't just teach facts, it should also train reflexes to pause, to question. Don't let fear make choices for you.

We outsourced imagination to machines. No more boredom, no more friction, no more staring at the ceiling until a story forms. Daydreaming, storytelling and creating have all been replaced with instant awe on tap. We didn't lose the magic, we just stopped struggling for it.

Is all this online outrage just becoming ambient noise? Serious question for anyone with a platform or power: beyond the posts, what tangible actions are you taking to fix the problems you publicly condemn?

The most rebellious thing you can do right now is to feel joy, awe, and to actually give a damn. That's how we can outlast this wreckage, and evolve/survive.

Growth fetishism is dangerous. Not every discomfort is transformative. Some suffering is wasted if not processed into structural change.

History will remember the young Jews, like @simonerzim.bsky.social, who saw past the lies, named the occupation for what it is, and said: Enough, not in our name!

Friendly reminder that the monster criticized by Chief Justice Roberts was created by Chief Justice Roberts.

Imagine being a medieval peasant in the 1300s hearing about 2025. "Wait, so you have machines doing all the hard labor, unlimited food, and magical instant communication... and you STILL work every day just to afford to live? Y'all okay??"

Trained my Facebook algorithm so well it’s all animals - rescues, interesting pets, positive stories, and just a little animal-on-animal drama. No politics, no people drama. It’s bliss.

Productivity hacks are the new snake oil. No app, tool, or "morning routine of billionaires" is going to save you if your priorities are trash. Real productivity isn't about doing more - it's about doing what actually matters and ruthlessly cutting the rest without guilt.
