The Phoenix metro desperately needs some sort of commuter rail project. That will absolutely never happen, so we have to settle for each city deciding if it wants light rail instead.

Phoenix voters originally approved a city-wide sales tax to fund a west valley extension in 2015. It’ll take almost 30 years to finally get it.
Glad all that money has been flushed down the drain too!

I saw a report about the Skubal contract negotiations and the legions of people who think a player should just accept an insultingly low offer because others have been historically underpaid are astounding.

Conn-Selmer, the last US manufacturer of brass instruments, is closing shop and moving operations to China right before union negations were set to open.

People like to defend managers/coaches who consistently fail to bring desired results by saying that it’s all on the underperforming players, there’s nothing a manager can do.
Some of it is, sure. But a good manager sets their team up to be successful with their decisions.
