London-based, Australian-born producer, songwriter and DJ, HAAi (aka Teneil Throssell) has released a new track, ‘Shapeshift’ featuring KAM-BU. Watch the video to the inventive new track, directed by Dobermann Ltd., where evocative, ambient and introspective opening, blurs into woozy sub-bass flips and lo-fi rave breaks accompanied by the vivid wordplay of KAM- BUit's a vibrant soundscape, that travels the contours of hinterlands.

School Daze Records releases compilation of rare synth pop on 27 June All The Young Droids: Junkshop Synth Pop 1978–1985 is a forthcoming compilation assembled by Philip King, set for release on 27 June 2025 via School Daze Records, an imprint of Night School. The set arrives as a 2LP edition (500 copies on transparent pink vinyl and 500 on black) and a 2CD version, with a 7” sampler featuring Ian North and John Howard planned for Record Store Day 2025.

Mute releases a full-length reimagining of Jackson C Frank's work by Harvey and Acevedo Mick Harvey and Amanda Acevedo return with Golden Mirrors (The Uncovered Sessions Vol. 1), a stripped and reimagined tribute to Jackson C. Frank, out 28 March 2025 via Mute. Initially prompted by a contribution to an Italian compilation, the project grew into a full-length album built from Frank’s minimal originals—mostly just voice and guitar—expanded in Harvey’s North Melbourne studio and mixed by Alain Johannes across LA, Spain, and Chile.
