A few special people in my life are also battling this cruel disease right now, each with their own story but the same admirable stoic pragmatism as Sir Chris. The power of positive thinking to make each day count is a valuable lesson ❤️

I read this and just feel sad, not only for Sir Tom's personal legacy. Charity income generation is increasingly difficult in the last few years (and now post-budget). Whilst right to expose this, I worry about further erosion of public trust in the sector. 🤔
