This seems like a great day to remind Bluesky that Stephen Miller lived four doors down from me freshman year
And our student council person asked him (and everyone) to sign a birthday card for our dorm’s janitor
And he threw a tantrum and wrote an op-ed about not socializing with “the help.”

Got some scary news. Cooper has potential for 2 types of cancer. He had to have surgery to get a tumor removed and the other is inoperable, and making it difficult for him to Pee. Going to fight it with him but pre grieving a little. I’m scared I’ll lose my best friend.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

What’s wild to me is the false reality of NewsMax, OAN, Twitter, TS etc is so complete now I AM THE ONE WHO SOUNDS CRAZY. “The government is doing ___ but you’re not hearing about it on the news that you watch, you have to go to Reuters or AP to know the truth!”

My instinct is to make the case that USAID is extremely good, actually. But I feel like it’s more important to say, “What is happening is antagonistic to the foundational document of the nation.”

For no reason at all, I feel compelled to mention that for the overwhelming majority of Germans in the 1920s, the appeal of Hitler was the promise of economic revitalization of the country.
