Don’t just log errors.
Log context.

Where.
Why.
What user.
What input.

Beginners of today are leaders of tomorrow.

Treat them well.

Today I had the most motivated debugging assistant money can buy.

Literally.

I was testing Revolut payments in production.

Every time I didn’t fix a bug…
€3 vanished from my account.

No Ai assistant beats the debugging pressure of real money flying out the window.

Is that time of the year again…

When I need to publish updates on apple app store.

This used to be simple…

Now? Now you need a phd.

Anyone else having issues with verifying phone number via Google? Either on profile or youtube?

substack felt like a good idea
until it ate my whole first post

i copied it just in time (paranoid dev reflexes ftw)
but can’t even paste it back — it’s still broken

is this what the cool kids are using?
someone point me to a blog platform that doesn’t fight back

Remember when ChatGPT didn’t exist?

Would you go back?

📢 Vibe coders!
(Those who didn’t do any programming before)

Would you be interested to level up, by learning only the important stuff?

No more pulling you hair and screaming at AI to fix it.

You would have a solid ground to stand on!

No math, algorithms. Just important stuff.

Anyone programming without AI assistants these days?

I was open-minded today.
So I tried React.

Thank you @evanyou.me for crafting such an elegant developer experience with Vue 🫶

I might be losing my mind…

But I’m about to do something wild.

Going LIVE.
Building an MVP from scratch.
No scripts. No second takes.
And get this… NO. AI. HELP.

Just me, my keyboard, and my old friend Google.

This is either going to be brilliant…
Or a disaster….

Would you tune in?

Yesterday I was arguing with ChatGpt how it should fix my code for 1hour, because I was to lazy to do it myself.

After an hour I gave up and rewrite it myself in 10minutes.

Oh AI what a timesaver indeed 🤭

Had to try this before everyone is doing it 😅

My happiness ended in April 2024… Why? Because when testing Stripe payments, I can’t just spam 4242424242424242 anymore—
the form auto-fills 04/24 as the expiry date, and guess what? That’s in the past. 😭💔

I’m not a coffee drinker, but today, for some reason, I decided to follow clean code principles, which suggested drinking coffee.

Now my hands are shaking, my heart is racing like I’m sprinting, and I’m making a typo in every other word…

Never doing that again.

If I had to choose between AI coding assistants and a debugger for the rest of my career…

Debugger. Every. Single. Time.

I gave windsurf ai editor a try past two days.

In general I am not huge fan of AI for developers, but Windsurf actually helped me spend more time doing meaningful development and less time figuring out how to fix my docker configuration.

I am not completely sold, but on the way 😄🫡

Buried in reports. Drowned in meetings. But I finally stole a few hours to do what I love—code.
