Does a shopping app exists that lets you share a photo and ask for specific variations? Eg “find me something like this but in wood instead of plastic.” Or “find me this shirt in blue.”

Tried ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Arc Search…none even pretend to try.

Someone has got to be doing this.

Is there an app that lets me run a *local* LLM and point it to a folder on the file system automatically for every chat?

I want to say “always look at my local Obsidian folder of markdown notes before responding to me.”

High-compute reasoning models like o1 being bad at chat and good at “report generating” means a totally different UX. Seems closer to posting a job on a freelancing site vs messaging with a bright but lazy coworker.

So what’s the difference between “Discover” and “Popular With Friends”? I’d have guessed that Discover was popular with the whole network but mine’s not full of furries so that can’t be right.

Does anyone have experience selling an app?

I’m considering selling theinterviewerapp.com. It has a solid and growing (small) revenue stream and helps lots of people, which I love. But this is a hobby and my time is limited so it may be time to let it go to clear more brain space for new projects.
