Well before webcams, I set up a camera at home that I could check on from work to see if my dog was trying to eat out of the cat's litter box. If I caught him, I would call the answering machine and yell at him to stop. It worked! We called it the "bad dog cam".

There’s fewer things in life more fun than chasing 3 dogs around the house with a massage gun. And then they start chasing you back. :)

Make sure to put on your bear spray BEFORE you go into the woods. It needs to soak in for a few minutes for maximum effectiveness.

The amazing secret about gravel bikes isn’t about riding gravel. It’s about the 10x more wonderful roads, paved or not, that short sections of gravel are keeping you from. And then those roads are incredibly low traffic. It’s like keys to a whole other world of cycling paradise. #gravelbike

In Years 4, 5, and 6, you start to dissociate (and I mean that in a productive way). You float above the Slack channels and see how it all kinda fits together. After a decade, you attain something I’ve come to think of as clairvoyance.

Stay somewhere for a year, and you know what your job is. Everyone else knows what your job is too. Stay for two years, and you’ve made the job your own in some small way. By three years, you’re fluent in the unspoken norms and social patterns of wherever you are.

Great article about job mastery- "'Your generation loves to lily pad,” she said, “but they never learn anything beyond how to do their one job. They never go deep.”'
This is the gift of staying somewhere a Very Long Time. Think of your tenure as a path toward increasing your situational awareness.

Great article on running is actually GOOD for your knees - If you take the time to let them recover if they hurt. Exactly what I've experienced myself. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

You can google different symptoms of pain on the bike and you'll get back an exact list of what the causes are. It's pretty cool. Because the pains associated with what you are doing wrong are well established. Like pain in front of the knee vs. behind, etc... #cycling #triathlon #mtb #gravel
