I remember seeing this in the arcade area in an amusement park as a kid and really wanting to play it (must've been 2000/2001?) to then be told "no its expensive" so instead I just watched others play it.

Played Smash Melee against my brother again last weekend, man that game still holds up. Sure the controls might be a little stiff compared to modern iterations but its highly enjoyable still

If you're worried about AI slop in modern video games, there is about four to three decades worth (if not more) of great games to play instead. You cannot tell me you've played everything there is up until this point.

Anyone else feel like Nintendo has gotten a little Sterile/Boring over the years? Not to be a bit of a downer, but I miss when they made unique stuff and took risks. Even some of the recent remakes feel a little simple and safe.
