I spoke with Deepa Fernandes of "Here and Now" this morning. We discussed the need to rehumanize one another to end to this dangerous culture war. A person who chooses to display their pronouns is not an enemy of the American people. We must ask - who stands to gain when we fight amongst each other?

Federal employees have been ordered to remove pronouns from their email signatures. Some state governments have emulated the Trump administration's directive.
