Started Veilguard recently. It is scratching both my dragon age high fantasy itch...and my mass effect one. Combat feels so much like Andromeda, as do the party interactions. I've enjoyed Lucanis and Neve interactions. But yeah, bioware nails team combat by having primer and detonator mechanics.

Just found an AI music poster on YouTube...because it was pushed as something similar to what I listen to. Im disgusted. Because I only looked when I listened to the lyrics that were very much fat shaming a woman for not losing weight after working out for 8 months. But for real. Ai music. 🤮🤮🤮

With the popularity of Marvel Rivals...Square Enix should consider either doing a Dissidia Final Fantasy in that style. And then have an emulator to play the previous versions online as well. I'm sure there is a market for it and enough characters across 16 main games plus spin offs.

Today's gamer projects: continue playing bg3 after work with my fiancé (I'm a ranger and he's a monk) and some ffxiv gear farming to get my main job to I'll 720 and my secondaries to 710+. Tomorrow I'm starting my first pathfinder: wrath of the righteous run! Any spoiler free tips?

Definitely gonna pray for a sale on the ps portal. I want one so bad but can't justify the $200 right now.

So my current project is to disconnect from "ideal" builds. I wanna channel miss frizzle. "Take chance, make mistakes, and get messy." My next attempt at bg3 will be a ranger. My next pathfinder wotr attempt will similarly be something more for my vibe versus good build.

Trying to put together what I find fun in games. What feels like play, what brings me enjoyment, and what excites me. So far, I know I enjoy challenging battles and learning about a world's cultures and lore. Both are really important. Im also trash as souls soulsborne otherwise I'd play elden ring.

So I've been pondering why I saw so many complaints about #Dnd2024 in regards to warlock getting their patron at level 3 instead of 1. And the thing I'm thinking about is...how many view warlock as an occultist? Like their first couple levels they're using stolen magic effectively now. 🧵
