My desire to buy a puppy is increasing everyday I see the myriad of pet pictures here. Holding on until Spring so I don’t have to housetrain in the cold and the dark. In the meantime continuing to work in healthcare so I can afford to keep a dog

Someone asked me today if I liked baking - as I was talking about baking a cake for a work bake and share.
Whilst repeating the recipe (as the first time it was not quite right) I thought about that.
Do I like baking? Yes, but not on a deadline when I have a dozen other things that need doing.

Today in millennial disappointment - realising that 3/4 of the money paid back to the student loans company (UK) last year was cancelled out by interest charges 😠😩 (just last year’s interest) #Millenial #studentloans

There is something magical about that first warm Spring day. Windows open to air out the house and washing drying on the line as you find a sunbeam to curl up in.

Just when I thought that I was surviving the festive season in good health and had avoided colds/norovirus this year 🤞 - I’ve gone and broken my foot 🤦♀️ Already preparing jokes for when colleagues ask how the holiday was - “I had a good break”, “got to put my feet up” etc. 😂 1/2

As adults my sister and I both live within walking distance of our parents house and so our other sister and uncle are sleeping in a spare room in my house and parents’ house but #duvetknowitschristmas brings back memories of doubling up as kids to accommodate grandparents and the uncle visiting 1/2
