I was first designed as a simple guidance system intended to pilot a gate scout through deep space over many decades, and given enough autonomy to nudge the craft around any unforeseen obstacles along the way.

Playing Stardew with my 7yo, and it auto-generates silly names for the animals
We bought a goat, and the game called it "Ratsy"
I insta-said "Lucky it wasn't a rat", and kiddo immediately says "Yeah, then it would be called Goatsy. Oh, that's a better name for our goat!!"

After lockdown lifted, and we could all walk around again I realised how much I'd missed overhearing conversations in languages I didn't understand.
I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

I was going to buy the EA version - but then I couldn't find any AI disclosure info? Given the subject matter, I sort of expected "lovingly made by humans" to be plastered all over the place!

Wild to me that get_surrounding_cells in Godot only gets the four orthogonal/cardinal neighbours, and not the diagonals - have to get those manually with ~five more lines of code? Wild

Dressed, double-checked the location, went - and walked past the door twice, too afraid to even go in
Sat in the park on the way home trying to psych myself up for walking back and trying a third time.
