The best writing advice I ever got: "Make them uncomfortable, then make them GRATEFUL for the discomfort." That's transformation. That's what separates good books from ESSENTIAL ones. 🗡️

Your MC doesn't need to be likable. They need to be COMPELLING. Give me a character who makes terrible choices for understandable reasons over a bland hero ANY day. 🖤
