Random speculation for if/when Pandaemonium spawns an ultimate:
- Erichtonios will be an iconic mechanic that has to be done correctly to make the fight beatable
- Hesperos insta-enrage if Hephaistos goes down before him
- UAV will be an entire phase if not more

Farming Creator on my EU character and dear god what the hell is wrong with HW-era gear? A9S drops random pieces rather than chests, certain slots don't give you an option without undesirable stats or with crit, tome/raid distribution is atrocious. 🤦

Who needs zoomhack when you can play on ultrawide? Or rather, why do we even have mechanics that are significantly easier on ultrawide?

Conceptually pictomancer may turn out really neat to integrate into Zane's canon as his starting to grasp the powers he inherited from Aion but the aesthetic is so meh for them both. 🤦

It always gets me in games where we get to play as antagonists (looking at you, 358/2) and it turns out they were spamming their limit breaks in their boss battles. The level of desperation. 😭 And of course this extends to Seat of Sacrifice although we never get to play as him.

The finale of the Alexander raids implies that Dayan and Mide were sent back in time to reincarnate. I'm starting to think theirs is not the only instance of it happening.

How the heck did I miss the Game of Thrones reference right in the first RDM quest title? 😹 And having used the expression myself a bunch of times too, because RDM IS sort of a sacred duty in the world of XIV raiding.

XIV raiders need to stop parroting "drop your GCD" in the context of advice for learning hard mechanics. If it works for you good but at high ping it's harmful. Pressing buttons forces the game to acknowledge your position (yes, I know trios etc. pose a problem), you have to learn to work with it.

Ehll Tou is Gullinbursti's daughter. I unlocked her quest before I'd done any significant progress on Moogle quests so that went completely under the radar in my first playthrough. The love of crafting runs in the family, huh? (I say this but Zane's brother is also a goldsmith.)

It's sort of heartwarming how it's an unspoken rule in Thaleia to LB after the last boss uses their own "LB", like we're showing off to them.
