omg I was trying to figure out his chord progress and melody for an hour last night and couldn't make any inroads (was even recording myself on the piano experimenting with it); today all of a sudden I figured it out lol
saved it into Cubase so that I don't lose it...

Notes on sub-bass engineering for C#
* standard bass with root frequency at 69Hz → too boomy
* add sine at 69Hz*0.75 → felt weird, too many undulations, probably because this corresponded to the 17.25Hz C# and not the 34.5 Hz C#
* add sine at 34.5Hz and extra sine wave at 34.5Hz*3 → sounds great!
